About Meditation & Awareness Practices
The pressures of the world today can be overwhelming at times. Meditation and Awareness Practice can help you generate experiences of empowerment, self-determination, personal safety, and security. One of the biggest misconceptions abut meditation is that the main goal is to empty the mind. Many people write themselves off as meditators under the mistaken belief that if they can't get their mind-chatter to stop, trying to meditate is hopeless. There is no need to give up! Even the Dalai Lama has been quoted as saying he can't turn his thoughts off completely, and that doing so isn't even the point! Rather than emptying the mind, meditative practices are about simultaneously mastering and freeing the mind... learning to become aware of our thoughts, yet remain unattached to them... learning to observe whatever we're experiencing, and to let it be... learning to give the 'monkey-mind' intentional jobs to do, so it doesn't just run wild and wreak havoc in our lives.

People who meditate regularly typically experience less stress, greater clarity, better sleep, improved health & cognitive functioning, increased creativity, and more. With all that mental real estate freed up, how could you not? And yet, many of us don’t meditate because we are under the mistaken impression that meditating requires us to sit still & silent for long periods of time, or that we have to learn special postures, or control our minds in ways that frankly, don’t sound very comfortable… If someone told you that these are only some approaches to meditating, and that you could actually learn to meditate in ways that are comfortable and easy for you, would you give it a try?

Mantras can become a powerful tool in our personal transformations, as well as a great comfort in times of challenge. Vocal toning uses sound to balance and heal mind, body & spirit at a cellular level. Combined, these are among the most powerful tools we can access for manifestation & healing.
